Biography:

Lynn County Healthcare Systems is delighted to introduce Mr. Thomas, a highly accomplished and compassionate healthcare professional, to our community. With an extensive 20+ year background in cardiology, internal medicine, and clinical care, Mr. Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to LCHS and the community of Tahoka.

Mr. Thomas completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies with a specialization in Cardiology at the University of Nebraska. He also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science and Physician Assistant Certification from Emory University. With a strong foundation in the medical field, Mr. Thomas's commitment to ongoing learning is evident.

As a new member of the faculty at LCHS, Mr. Thomas will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to the residents of Tahoka, TX, and the surrounding areas. Mr. Thomas main role will be to join the primary care team in the Family Wellness Clinic in Tahoka. His experience and expertise make him an invaluable addition to the healthcare team at LCHS.

Previously, Mr. Thomas served as a Physician Assistant in Clinical/Internal Medicine at Our Family Doctor in Garland, TX, where he collaborated with colleagues to manage and treat patients across the lifespan. He provided medical management and treatment for psychiatric patients at behavioral health facilities, as well as evaluating and managing patients in a clinical office setting.

With extensive experience in cardiology, Mr. Thomas played a crucial role at the Texas Cardiac Center in Lubbock, TX, where he rounded, treated, and managed patients in a clinical office setting and collaborated with physicians and healthcare professionals in a hospital inpatient setting. His dedication to patient care is evident through his involvement in cardiac-related research studies.

Mr. Thomas's commitment to internal medicine and clinical care led him to work at Grace Clinic and Hospital in Lubbock, TX, where he collaborated with colleagues to evaluate, treat, and manage patients of all ages in a clinical and hospital setting.

Prior to joining LCHS, Mr. Thomas gained valuable experience in rehabilitation, internal medicine, and cardiology at various healthcare facilities. His dedication to the medical field is exemplified through his active membership in esteemed professional organizations, including the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
