Biography:

Chelsea Frei Acuna was raised in Brownfield, and graduated high school from Wellman-Union. Her parents are Chris and Lucy Frei of Brownfield. She is married to Ricardo Acuna who is a registered Respiratory Therapist in Lubbock. Chelsea and Ricardo have two handsome boys, Zander and Zane.

Chelsea graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2016 with a bachelors in Nursing Science. She worked at Covenant Medical Center's Adult Emergency Department for 7 years. Chelsea went back to Texas Tech in 2015 for graduate studies. During her rotations she worked out of the Tahoka Family Wellness Clinic under Melanie Richburg DNP, FNP-C. Chelsea graduated Summa Cum Laude with her MSN degree and post-masters certification in Family Practice. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Chelsea currently works out of our Fast Track Clinic located in Tahoka and she also provides primary care out at the O'Donnell Family Wellness Clinic in O'Donnell.
