Lab

The mission of the Lynn County Hospital District laboratory is to provide quality clinical laboratory services to the residents of Tahoka, the Lynn County communities, and neighboring counties in West Texas. We strive to build and maintain a reputation imbued with the highest standards to assure reliability and integrity in our laboratory services. This opportunity to serve our clientele also creates a window for us to uplift and advance the area of clinical laboratory medicine through education, research, and publications. Our laboratory services span routine chemistry, blood counts, body fluid analysis and select special laboratory tests in immunodiagnostics, coagulation studies, and blood gas studies. The laboratory team is composed of committed, competent and qualified laboratory professionals available during regular operating hours and critical events.

Since 2009, the laboratory has been awarded the Certificate of Laboratory Accreditation from the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA) and from Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). With this fully accredited lab so close to home coupled with the unique service and hospitality of our staff that you couldn’t experience elsewhere, why drive to Lubbock and deal with traffic and the lines? If you have an order from your doctor, whether from Lubbock or elsewhere, all you have to do is call, inquire about your orders, and set-up a time to come in.

Services for out-patient are available during regular days from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and extended hours during Wednesdays. As a vital member of the hospital, services are provided for its in-patients and emergency case patients 24 hours-a-day 7 days-a-week.
